Since joining the ABE Japan team in 2023, Kai Sato has played a key role as both lab technician and site coordinator at our Japan site. He works closely with high school teachers to carefully plan and prepare for hands-on lab sessions, making sure everything—from equipment to reagents—is ready to go. He travels to high schools across Japan or supports them via Zoom, helping each lab session run smoothly and confidently. He also conducts PDIs for teachers in various regions.

Kai is also passionate about outreach. He teams up with other staff to run booths at academic conferences and other events, sharing ABE with high school teachers and the broader STEM community. His cheerful personality, approachability, and dedication make him a huge asset to the ABE Japan team.
